Part of our community engagement plan involves voluntary
conservation days for staff, amounting to 140 hours over the past

Army Energy ‘spend to save’ initiatives carried out in financial year
2009/10 included lighting upgrades with movement sensors, thermal

The Ministry of Defence Mandated Safe Systems of Work apply to specifically defined criteria for Confined Spaces and Restricted High Places. The legacy from the Property Services Agency (PSA) has been carried through into current schedules and registers.The Defence Estates Specification 005 Issue 3 Tasks 530 and 531 gives an item description of “Masts, Towers, Flagpoles and Statues” which is a hangover from PSA. The aim of this Project was to provide a Fit for Purpose, modern,
